Rockville Weimaraners started when we purchased our first rescue in 1988. We immediately fell in love with the breed. We purchased our first show dog "Ashley" - Windwalker Ashley of XII Oak in 1988. Our experiences with Ashley only furthered our love of weimaraners and we decided to become breeders. We had our first litter in 1999 to CH Windwalkers Graeagle CD JH and produced CH Rockville's Truman Greystone, CH Rockviles Silver Bounty, CH Rokvils Relfections N'Silver and CH Rokvils Illision of Diamonds. We were so pleased with that litter we repeated the same breeding in 2002 and that litter produced CH Rockville's Gold Run. Since then we have breed both CH Rokvils Illusion of Diamonds and CH Rokvils Reflections N'Silver.

     We realized after our first litter that this breed is VERY versatile and can do many things other then just conformation. We started breeding for the Versatile Weimaraner that can do it ALL.

     Our Breeding Program places weimaraners in homes that want to do something with the Weimaraner. If you are doing something with your Weim your Weim will be much happier and so will its owner.

    We breed for not only conformation but also temperament and versatility. All our weimaraners we breed are OFA Certified for both hips and elbows. Our puppies are worked with immediately after birth. They are socialized from day one and we expose them to all types of surfaces and LOUD noises. They will have been worked on birds and shot over before you take them home at 8 weeks to prepare them for hunting and field work.

    Our puppies are also exposed to baby agility, tracking and swimming. For the most part they will be potty trained and crate trained (this needs to be re-enforced at the new home). We temperament test the litter at 7 1/2 weeks and place puppies with families matching the families temperament to the puppies and what events you will want to compete in.

    After receiving your puppy we hold training sessions at our house to assist you in developing your puppy. We work on birds, agility, tracking , obedience, and a variety of other activities at our training days at Camp Rockville.

     We like to keep in touch with our litters and are always available for questions. We even provide free baby-sitting for your Rockville Weimaraner puppy (our Grand -Babies) when you go on vacation.
